PRINCIPAL LIGHTING DESIGNER /
Understanding light and how it can illuminate a space requires careful consideration of where it is placed, angled, and controlled.
Originally a textile designer for the Fashion Industry, Catie has a feel for colour intensity and shadow on a surface. This design discipline transferred smoothly to lighting, enabling visualization of the effect light can have on the architecture and the very fabric of the space.

Client / Architect and or Interior Designer meet to discuss the brief. A collaboration of ideas for the project. A client wish list.
ilight will design appropriate lighting directly onto the architectural plan.
/ CONCEPT DESIGN
Concept design client presentation, light fittings and style, with dimensional drawings and in-situ shots, to build a clear picture of what you are getting and where. Including a quotation of approximate costs for fittings and drivers. Opportunity to alter anything at this stage.
/ PRESENTATION
/ APPROVAL
Sign off from client.
/ DETAILED DESIGN
Drawings, spec sheets and install for electrician and architect. Finalisation of costs for fittings.
Deposit paid to secure the light fittings, ilight will order with appropriate suppliers and on final payment deliver to site.
/ ORDER & SUPPLY
iLight will manage the project from prewire to completion collaborating with the contractors to ensure the design is realised.
